Guru Angad Dev was born a Hindu in Ferozepur, Punjab. He was the 2nd of the ten founding gurus of Sikhism.
He was born with the name Bhai Lehna. Before he met Guru Nakan at the age of 27 he used to worship the Hindu Goddess, Durga. He succeeded Guru Nanak in 1539.
