After Jerome had finished the general packing, hampers remained to be packed. This job was to be done by Harris and George. Jerome knew Harris to be the worst packer, so he was curious to know how he would pack the brittle and delicate articles in the hampers. He started by breaking a cup. Harris made another mistake by putting jam bottle on top of a tomato which squashed it.

Now it was George’s turn to pack another hamper. He started by treading on butter. Jerome’s presence was irritating him; both Harris and George packed pies at the bottom and put heavy things on them thus smashing them. And then Harris sat on butter and both George and Harris could not find it.

Thus, they created so much of mess while packing.

Jerome was the best packer among the three friends. George and Harris would absolutely create a mess whenever they packed their bags.

The same happened here.

They put the pies at the bottom and placed the other items on top of them thus ultimately smashing the pies.

Harris also put a jam bottle on the top a tomato which smashed the vegetable as well.

Some few other cutlery items were also broken while they tried to pack.

They were irritated with Jerome's presence he was watching closely at the mess they were creating.
