3) Foreign clothes were burnt in huge bonfires.

4) The import of foreign cloth halved between 1921 to 1922.

5) In many places merchants and traders refused to trade with foreign goods or finance in foreign foreign trade.

6) As this spread across the country the people discard wearing imported once and wearing Indian ones.
