The Indian Army during World War II was one of the largest Allied forces contingents which took part in the North and East African Campaign, Western Desert Campaign. At the height of the World War, more than 2.5 million Indian troops were fighting Axis forces around the globe.

India was under the British Flag and had to follow British orders

The Indian state declared war on Germany hours before even Britain did

The World War surely hastened the Indian Independence

We fought Japan In Burma and sent soldiers to North Africa and the Middle east.

NOT MUCH ,BUT INDIA IS INDIA BECAUSE OF THE WAR
