Hitler wanted to make germany the worlds superpower.Germany was not only the country to nurture such ambition,japan and italy also shared similar aspiration.Due to this closeness,germany,Tokyo and Italy became very close to eachother.This closeness gave rise to "ROME TOKYO BERLIN AXIS",popularly referred to as the'AXIS'.

The foreign policy of Hitler is as follows:
- During Geneva Disarmament Conference, Hitler withdrew from the conference against negotiating a reduction in armaments. He also left the League of Nations. He formed a military and wanted to establish a European empire through war.
- Hitler ordered German troops to reconquer the Rhineland which is a region in western Germany bordering France, Belgium, and part of the Netherlands. None of the western countries intervened.
- Hitler also destroyed the Czech state.
- Germany invaded Poland in 1932. After this he annexed Danzig.
- German foreign policy had to leave the Treaty of Versailles to prepare for war and form alliances with the german population into Reich.
