Momentum can be defined as the product of mass and velocity.

p = m × v

and the unit is kgms^1

So, the Change of Momentum is as follows:

Let the initial velocity be u and the final velocity be v and time taken to complete the action is taken as t.

Change of momentum = Initial momentum - Final momentum

===> mv - mu/ t

===> m ( v - u ) / t
