A near drowning experience for Douglas would haunt him all his life.
While the initial issue were mostly physical pains, dizziness, weakness and fear of water.
With time the mental trauma was tough to deal with, The fear of death resulted in sleepless nights. Prolonged medication, together with family support was all he needed.
