  • because after war their are many loss of life and after seeing it Ashoka felt that it is wrong and leave following policy of dhammagosha.
  • After that he started following buddhisam by taking inspiratiin from gautum buddha

the most important event of ashoka's region was the conquest of Kalinga the indescribable suffering and atrocities of the Kalinga War deeply touched ashoka's conscience and he made a solemn resolve not to take up arms any more.the war drum (bheridhosha) was silenced forever ,and henceforth were heard only the echoes of 'dhammaghosha'the call to non -violence and universal peace. this is the answer of your question
