China and the USSR were to play different roles in the war. As the United States poured men and money into South Vietnam, Chinese and Soviet involvement in Vietnam also increased. As the world's largest communist powers, both the Soviet Union and China gave moral, logistic and military support to North Vietnam.

on north vietnam there was an influence of soviet russia. while on south vietnam there was an influence of U.S.A with an excuse of saving north vietnam america send her military there. on the other hand soviet russia was doing communism reforms in north vietnam. thus due to the effect of mutual competion of america and soviet russia vietnam became a puppet in their hands america wanted to defeat south vietnam and form government there while russia wanted to help vietnam to fight against america. america used bomb on north vietnam.
