1. It has an adverse affect on the development of home industries , it creates a threat to the survival of infant industries at home in this competitive world. As due to unrestricted imports the upcoming industries in the country may be destroyed / collapsed.

3. Too much of exports may lead to exhaust of natural resources of a country, which will cause economic downfall of the country in the longer run.
