The franch revolution was essentially a bourgeoisie revolution in its character.The result and significance of tha franch revolution are as follows:

1.The end of ancient regime:

Like other country of europe,in the 18th century franch was ruled by the autocrats of Burbon dynasty who had complete faith in autocratic rule,central administration,priveladge nobality,exploited commoner,the corrupt church etc there symptoms of ancient regime were prevent in franch before the outbreak of the revolution.But the revolution with a giant sweep wiped end the old older.Autocratic monarchy,aristocratic priveledge,illegal taxation and monopoly of aristocratic became a thing of the past.The release of feudalism was burried.Self system,monorial system,various feudal taxas etc were abolished.The church lost his control on freedom of thought and national education franch was realised from the medieval social,political and economic bondage.

2.The republicanism:

The franch revolution not only destroy the old order but it located a new order in its place.The leaders of the revolution voted for a republican system based on the universal franchise.This ideas of political democracy of liberty deeply impressed the franch man.The republic which was established after the revolution did’t die with the rise of the napolean Bonaparte dictatorship.

3:Ideas of equality and nationalism:

The franch revolution also brought the ideas of legal equality,social equality,carrier opened to talent,uniformity of law and justice,freedom of speech,religious toleration,individual liberty and rule of law.The ideas of liberty,equality and fraternity spread great and lasting impression amongs the masses.These ideas were no confined within the franch boundaries,it was spread rapidly to other parts of the world.

4:Rise of peasantry class:

The land settlement of the franch revolution had a special significance.This land were purchased some rich bourgious and mostly by the free peasants.The old social character of the village redically changed because of the rise of these peasant class.They were loyal to the revolution which gave them land and social status.They started to love their property which they newly earn.

5:Development of new education:

Previously the education was under the church was giving emphasis on religious education.But the revolution altered the old system of education.After revolution,modern education system gave emphasis on science,literature and social development,university,college and schools comes under state control.
