Answer:

Hello there,

Revolutions of 1848, series of republican revolts against European monarchies, beginning in Sicily and spreading to France, Germany, Italy, and the Austrian Empire. They all ended in failure and repression and were followed by widespread disillusionment among liberals.

This revolution was driven by nationalist and republican ideals among the French general public, who believed the people should rule themselves. It ended the constitutional monarchy of Louis-Philippe, and led to the creation of the French Second Republic.

With many revolts like revolts of the poor, unemployed workers and starving peasants during 1848 in Europe, educated middle class of France also started a revolution for the abdication of the monarch and a republic based on universal male suffrage had been proclaimed.

*please mark me * Brainliest is not a joke *General liberalism in Europe is a political movement that supports a broad tradition of individual liberties and constitutionally-limited and democratically accountable government . These European derivatives of classical liberalism are found in centrist movements and parties as well as some parties on the center-right and the center-left.

Liberalism in Europe has a different meaning from the signification it has in contemporary politics in the U.S [2] In America , liberals might be confused with leftists which advocate for a larger government ,some forms of protectionism and more economic interventionism .
