  • Germany was divided into Eastern and Western Germany. The Eastern Germany was controlled by the USSR( Russia) and Western part was controlled by the Allies.
  • The USSR took control of many countries in Eastern Europe like Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Albania and Hungary.
  • The Allies occupied Japan.
  • The Allies and the USSR divided Korea into North and South Korea.
  • In China, a civil war continued between communists and nationalists, eventually leading to the creation of Hong Kong and Communist China.

My Opinion:-

  • In my opinion, World War II caused a great destruction in the world. It was the deadliest war in the history of mankind. It killed total toll of 70 million people. It generated the highest human death toll of any war recorded in history.
