Helen had written a story called 'The Frost King'. Everyone was quite happy and proud of her talent. Miss. Sullivan published that story in the Perkins's Institute's yearly magazine. But people started to claim that Helen had copied this story from another story called 'The Frost Fairies'. This deeply hurt Helen because she didn't even remember of a story called 'The Frost Fairies'. Due to this accusation, Helen was afraid of writing any more and lost her interest in it. But soon, Miss. Sullivan encouraged her and she dragged Helen out of the fear.

Helen wrote the book named "the frost king " which was similar to the book which was written by Margret T Canby which named "the frost fairies" . Helen accused of plagiarism although she never did it consciously . she was utterly disappointed after that she was hesitant to write anything . but it so happened because once her teacher described about the beauties of late foliage to the author . this made Helen recall a story which was read to her in her memories unconsciously . Helen sat down to write down in her story she could not analyse how idea related to "the frost king" came across her mind . Anagos thought that Helen intentionally plagiarized . and their friendship got ruined
