This caused a great influence as because of western education pandits and mullahs lost their jobs

Western education introduced the educated Indians to the works of Rousseau, Garibaldi, Locke, J.S. Mill and many others. They learnt about concepts of liberty, equality and fraternity, self government etc. which makes them aware of their rights and also to think to rational way.
