What was the irony of the poem the frog and the nightingale of 0 english?

The frog says that a song had to be original but this was ironic as he had earlier told the poor nightingale that an original song was nothing to  be proud of.

The frog says that he charged a modest fee which wouldn't hurt but this is ironic as it more that just hurts her; it kills her!
