Answer:

The maiden was singing a very woeful tune while she was harvesting her crops. The poet, although enchanted and impressed by the song, could not find out the theme of the song so he decided to assume that it was about a war long ago, or some sorrow in the maiden’s life. The maiden was very engrossed in her woeful song which, as described by the poet, was sweeter than a song that a nightingale could ever sing. The Solitary Reaper’ is William Wordsworth’s Rendition of the delight a simple peasant girl derives from Nature and how the entire atmosphere reverberates with That happiness.
