One would assume it was that they has invaded her country and, probably far more importantly on a personal level, taken away her power. Seems to have been the usual reaction of deposed rulers no matter who did the deposing. Have a look at the snit Boudica threw when the Romans took her land. Or the Great Sioux War when the American Empire took the Black hills. Can't blame them really.
