There were many major causes for the failure of revolt, but here i gonna Say the main two causes:-

#1• Many sections of the Indian population were friendly with the British, such as the ruling chiefs, Scindias, Nizam of Hyderabad, Holkars, Rajput princes, zamindars, moneylenders and merchnats. They stayed away from the revolt.

#2•The Revolt failed to spread over the whole country and was limited only to the northern and central parts of India. The other regions remained completely unaffected by it.
