The Maharaja Sir Jilani Jung Jung Bhadur was referred as “Tiger King”. When he was only 10 day old, he put up a smart questions in front of the the astrologers. They predicted that he would be killed by a tiger. When he was crowned king at the age of 20 years, he came across the prediction made by the astrologers about his death.
He soon started killing tigers and questioned the prediction of the astrologer. The astrologer warned the king and replied that we would be able to kill 99 tigers but need to be careful before hunting the 100th one
Soon the king left all important works of the kingdom and took up the task of killing tigers. On reaching the important mark of killing 99 tigers he was excited to touch the magical figure of 100. He was a bit disappointed of not be able to find the 100th one.
One day the king heard the presence of a tiger near a village . He ordered his Dewan to locate the tiger. The fear of the king and of losing his job Dewan went to ‘People’s Park in Madras’ and got an old tiger and kept it in the forest. When the news of the presence of a tiger was broken to the King he shot the tiger and felt a sigh of relief.
It was later realised that the tiger collapsed out of fear and not by the bullet of the king. The king`s staff killed the tiger and brought it in grand procession.
The king bought a wooden tiger on the occasion of his son`s third birthday celebration. While the king was toying with his son, a tiny sliver of the wooden tiger cut across his right hand. The infection soon turned sore and started spreading all over his arm which eventually became the reason for his death.
This was the miracle that took place in the royal place.
