The Selfish Gaint short story was written by Oscar Wilde.

Nature of Gaint:

In this story, there lives a Gaint who is selfish. He owns a beautiful garden but he is so selfish that he never allowed any child to play in the garden. He alone wants to enjoy his garden. If any child enters the garden he shouts at them. He kept a board mentioning that 'Trespassers will be prosecuted.' He built a huge wall around the garden so that no child can enter the garden. But the nature of Gaint was not the same during the story. He observed that neither spring nor summer entered his garden. His garden looked white and cold. There were no flowers and no fruits. But one morning he noticed a beautiful sight. Spring came into his garden. There was a little boy who was trying to climb the tree in the Gaint's garden. Looking at that beautiful sight, Gaint's heart melted. He helped the boy in climbing up the tree. Then the boy kissed the Gaint. From then, Gaint decided to make his garden a Children's playground. He has never been selfish again.

That was the nature of Gaint.
