Explanation:

The Government of India formed the Linguistic Provinces Commission IN 1948 under the chairmanship of S.K. Dhar . It was called the Dar commission. The commission suggested that the restructuring of the provinces on the basis of financial efficiency ,geographical contiguity and ease of administration.
