Outcome is that the narrator left all hers and her mother's belongings there with Mrs Dorling only. Mrs Dorling was not interested in returning them. Also the narrator did not want to take them back, as they were in a bad shape or in use in a bad way. She was totally disappointed by Mrs Dorling's character and behaviour.
