So the europeans had set up colonies in many places of the world with its main aim to acquire profits but also with a civilising mission . So the europeans set up colonies and brought modern culture even if it maent the destruction of their culture and tradition

Thus the people ofcountries were losing their own identity too and were developing a master - slave mentality
