there was no India at the point of time only fragmented kingdoms were there. only Kings were there and the common people accepted anyone victorus king becomes the ruler and whatever the respect shown to the previous king also to the new king.

cast systems once upon a time worked well as for the area it is the division of labour. today that is why we have uncrowned political Kings throughout.

so it was very easy foriengn invader to annex one by one all all kingdoms and start ruling enter area waves after waves Muslim invasion took place destroying temples and forcibly and sword point converting to people which was a little concern for nearby kings and peoples.

onlike Islam Hindusim does not have a codified procedure hence no unity and only difference which inturns filling supeerioutious over other Hindus.
