Literally, the East India Company has no worries when they planned to expand their trade around the 15th century. However, the practical difficulties came along with their plan of expansion when EIC started to expand their territory of trade. Among all the problems Dutch and French posed more threats. They were considered as the powerful rivals to the EIC.  

The EIC had fall into deep financial crunch whenever their rivals waged war against the company.
