people of bastar reacted against the british policies by rebelling against them- 1)people discussed the unjust policies of the british at markets, festivals, etc. and the initiative of the rebellion was taken up by dhurwas of the kanger forest where reservation first took place.  2) In 1910 mango boughs,a lump of earth ,chillies and arrows begn circulating among the villages, this as acually a invitation to the villages to rebel against the british. every village contributed something to the rebellion expenses. 3) bazaars were looted, houses of officials, schools and police stations were burnt and robbed and the grain redistributed. consequences- 1)work on reservation was temporarily suspended, the area marked for reservation was reduced to half of what was planned in 1910. 2)this inspired other tribal communities to rebel against the unjust policies of the british.
