the Happy prince's heart was full of love and kindness for all fellow beings , helping others stay happy was his chief purpose.He had given euerything belonging to him to poor and needy. the kind swallow had helped him in his mission also.however, when the swallow died of hunger and cold,the Happy prince heart' broke into two grief .

the broken heart did not melt in the foundary because it was made of divine elements of kindness and love. God sent his angles to bring the heart and the dead swallow to his pradise.
