What was the reaction of Victorian women to the clothing norms force on them

The Victorian women did not rebel or revolt against their typed of clothes even thought it effected them. They were taught that it was their duty to dress the way they did. Later on reforms were made, but they could not survive because they corsets had damaged their back completely.
