What was the reason for entering America in the Second World War

Japan, Germany,and Italy signed the tripartite agreement which made all the three countries powerful. USA attacked Japan in world war 1 and bombed one island .
To take the revenge of this incident Japanese fighter planes bombed pearl Harbor. Due to this USA entered WW2
and ended it with bombing Hiroshima-Nagasaki and defeating the Axis.
