  • The battle took place in the year of 1829 to 1833. The initials of the war began with Tirot Sing’s charge on the British Garrison where the orders were disobeyed.  
  • The orders were to stop the construction of road which was undergoing on the Khasi Hills. In the end, the Khasis were defeated and British took over Khasi Hills.
