What was the reason of revolution for the freedom of india?
Answers
The people of India fought against the British and the frequent wars and Swadeshi processions turned the movement into a revolution. The British harassed the Indians and looted a lot of money from India to England. They threatened the Indians and profited a lot of money from the poor farmers or peasants or craftsman to increase their power and increase their company's profits. They tortured and killed the Indians mercilessly and a few of the Indians at that time who understood the real intentions of the British arose against them and fought till their last breath to make India free. There were very few people who supported or joined the Swadeshi movements as India was not united and so it took many years for India to achieve liberty. This was the reason behind the revolution that took place between the years 1857 - 1947 for the freedom of India.
