the minority French speaking community was relatively rich and Powerful. This made the Dutch speaking community angry who got the benefit of economic development and education much later.
the social disparity between Dutch speaking and French speaking communities during the 1950 and 1960 led to tensions between them. the tension between the two communities was more acute in Brussels it has special problem. it is the duchess baking paper constituted a majority in the country but minority in a capital.
