\huge\bold\red{ANSWER:}

\bold{YOUR \: ANSWER \: GOES \: LIKE \: THIS}

\bold{REASON :}

Sri Lanka was having a great diversity difference which consist of Sinhalas (74%) and about 18% Tamils.

The Sinhala Only Act, formally the Official Language Act No. 33 of 1956, was an act passed in the Parliament of Ceylon in 1956. The act replaced English as the official language of Ceylon with Sinhala. The act failed to give official recognition to Tamil, which had not received official recognition before.

After this act, The tamil natives start thinking that their wishes are not accepted by the government and sinhalas are enjoying their rights

And due to this non satisfaction,on 23rd July 1983 civil war was occurred.

\bold{EFFECT :}

After this war, Countries start thinking about minorities. Minorities get reservations in parliament.
