No. They were not having any relation. Infact they are the exact opposites and one is a idol of kindness and justice and one is the replica of terror. Mahatma gandhi can't stand any injustice with silence. So it may be a fact that he tried to convince hitler of his racial stupidity with his letters. Infact hitler dont have a good opinion of indians. He even made a statement favouring the British rule in india. Netaji subash chandrabose who had contact with hitler tried to convince him to rephrase the statement which furher refused.
