After old regime , General Assembly was held in 5 may,1789 . It was a body which sent the representatives from each estates. first estate and second estate consist of 150 members each sit in front facing each other and third estate consist of 600 members were standing at the back . only educated and prosperous members of third estate were allowed . Women , children and poor peasants were denied to entry . The voting system is that each estate had one vote.
