Answer:

BATTLE OF PLASSEY

It was fought between Siraj - ud- daulah , the nawab of bengal and Robert Clive. Britishers came out victoriously in this battle. Mir Jafar cheated the Nawab of bengal which helped the Britishers to win this battle very easily. Only 22 british men were killed in this battle whereas in the side of the nawab almost 500 men were killed. Mir Jafar became the new nawab of bengal. He gifted Britishers large sum of money and gave him 24 paragans. But he was also soon removed as he failed to fulfil the demads of the company. Then Mir Qasim was appointed as the new nawab of Bengal. But he was also removed as he gave equal trade opportunities to all the merchants. Then after, Mir Jafar was again appointed as the nawab of Bengal.

Soon after this war battle of buxar was fought.
