The US president Woodrow Wilson first coins this term during his presidency and with this concept of Moral diplomacy he wanted to spread the peace, democracy, and promote the American economic growth with the countries who also are believer of the same morality as the USA do.  

As a result, it destroyed other forms of government and the imperialism and made USA the best supporter of human tights.
