The results of the Sepoy Mutiny in 1857 were far-flung.

It ended the rule of East India Company, and the Queen took over.

The Indian Army was recognized with the rule that the sepoys wouldn’t be in the higher posts.

The sepoy mutiny is also known as the uprising of the first war of independence. it is so called because it was the first time that the whole Nation was United and fight Hero ically as  one Nation. Hindus and Muslims were also United and fought for one Nation. The results of the revolt was as follows: 1) the rule of East India Company ended with the cube Queen Victoria proclamation of November 1 1858.2) a secretary of the state was appointed by the British government to look after the Governance of India with the help of a Council. the governor general was appointed by the British government the viceroy-representative of the British crown. Third-the policy of ruthless conquest and annexations of Indian territories was given up. Fourth-Thevar also given Assurance of high post would be given to them without any discrimination
