Second Anglo Maratha war 1803-1805.
The war started when deposedPeshwa Baji Rao II, entered Poona with the British Forces in May 1803. Britishattacked from North under General Lake and from South under Arthur Wellesley, brother of the Governor General.

The Second Anglo-Maratha War (1803-05) was fought on different fronts,,resulting in the British gaining Orissa and the territories north of the Yamuna river including Agra as well as Delhi..
