Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov[a] (22 April 1870[b] – 21 January 1924), better known by his alias Lenin,[c] was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1922 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to 1924. Under his administration, Russia and then the wider Soviet Union became a one-party communist state governed by the Russian Communist Party. Ideologically a communist, he developed a variant of Marxism known as Leninism; his ideas were posthumously codified as Marxism–Leninism.

Answer:

Hey mate!!!

Explanation:

Lenin was the leader of the Bolshevik Party. He was prepared to take desperate steps to make the revolution successful.

His contribution to the Russia Revolution -

→ On his return from exile in April 1917, he organised his party to take over the reins of government, like the Mensheviks, running the Provisional government had lost the popular support.

→ In his 'April Theses', he put forward clear policies to end Russian participation in the war, transferring land to the tiller and nationalising banks.

→ He declared the right to self-determination of all people in the Russian empire. On 7th November 1917, the Provisional Government fell, making Lenin the head of the world's first communist country.

→ He further implemented his policies to make Russia a true society until his socialist society until his death in 1924.

Hope helps.....
