Operation Barbossa

Before attacking Poland ,Hitler phoned Joseph Stalin and asked him for help in invading Poland. Stalin says OK to Hitler. But after invading Poland Hitler betrayed Stalin and Hitler launched Operation Barbossa on Soviet. This mad Stalin angry and USSR joined the Allied powers. In 1943, many battles took place between Germany and USSR like Battle of Kursk, Battle if Petrograd but Battle of Stalingrad in 1943 was Germany's major defeat.
