hey.....If life evolved in the deep ocean, near a hydrothermal vent, it could have originated as early as 4 to 4.2 billion years ago. If, on the other hand, life originated at the surface of the planet, a common opinion is it could only have done so between 3.5 and 4 billion years ago....

According to ancient hindu religious texts, the universe was created by lord Brahma. F.Suarez of Spain propounded a theory of special creation. According to him all living beings on the Earth was created in 6 days. According to Thales, all organisms evolved in the sea. Anaximens stated that the animals and plants developed from the substances present in the air in presence of sunlight. Von Helmont propounded the theory of spontaneous generation or theory of a biogenesis. According to it, life originated spontaneously from the non-living substances.
