France was under the monarch of the bourbon dinesty .The country was divided as 3 estates i.e churchmen , peasents and the Noble men .
The churmen n nobility were benefited from paying taxes , they were also have high percentage of property and also we're considered superior. whereas the peasants comprised of higher population but still were forced to give taxes. They also had to give taxes like tailli and tithes.Also got less percentage of land.
This was the social condition of France at 1789.
