Sometimes also referred to as Glorious Revolution or the Revolution of 1688, it was unique in its own way. This is because it lead to the transfer of supreme power to parliament without a drop of blood or a single gun shot.  Charles I got defeated and ultimately executed in 1649 and, thereafter, England became a Republic.

It was known as bloodless revolution and also known as Glorious Revolution, the uniqueness of this revolution was that the transfer of the supreme power to the parliament was done without any fight or quarrel or without shedding a drop of blood and also Charles I was defeated and executed in 1649 and at the same time England became republic.
