Hello friend!

the ashoka's life turning point after war of kalinga was he was changed into Buddhism from Hinduism.

ashoka killed so many people in the war of kalinga. the blood of the people (who was killed by ashoka)was flowing like a river. by watching that blood shedding he taught it is a big sin of his life. he decided to not fight with anyone in his life. so he changed into buddhism he became buddhist.

hope it helps..
