The class monitor can misuse his power by doing the following:  

1. He/ she can allow only his friends to go out in absence of teachers  

2. He/she can accuse his/her enemies wrongly and complain about them to the teachers.  

3. The class monitor may not allow his/her enemies to go out.  

4. Asking for favours from students and making them do his/her work is another way in which a class monitor can misuse power  

5. He/she can wrongly influence the students of the class for or against a certain notion.
