Answer:

Some leaves of a tree get detached when we shake their branches vigorously because branches come in motion, while the leaves tend to remain at rest due to the inertia of rest.

Explanation

When the tree is at rest, its leaves are also at rest. But when we bring the tree in motion by means of shaking it, due to the inertia of leaves they still tend to be in rest. Thus, force is acting on leaves vigorously with changing direction rapidly. This results in detaching of leaves from the tree.

Characteristics of Leaf

It is a dissimilar lateral flattened outgrowth of the stem

The leaf is exogenous in origin,

An apical bud or a regular growing point is absent

It is green and specialised to perform photosynthesis,

Leaves are the main seat of loss of water called transpiration.

Leaves possess minute pores called stomata. The gaseous exchange takes place through stomata.

Answer:

well if your plant is weak then it'll die and if the soil is fertile enough then it will continue to grow and regain its leaves. Mostly plants don't usually die fast if the leaves are all removed,if it dies too it will be a slow death because leaves are the main parts of the plant in terms of production of food.
