Bindusara was the son of Chandragupta Maurya .He ruled upto 273 BC. Athenacus(a Greek ruler) called him a " Slayer of Foes " which means - one who can end his enemies .. Bindusara was given this title because he had defeated 16 rulers. His greatest known achievement was the Revolt of Taxila ...
