What were author's views about prose writing ?

Answer:

Author had the belief that prose writing was not and cannot be the true pursuit of a genius. Its for the patient,persistent and persevering drudge with a heart so shrunken that nothing can break it.Rejection didn't discourage the writer, he soon prepared another fresh copy and posts it to another editor.
